Dear Parents

We are pleased to welcome you to Gordon School. Children learn best when they are interested, work hard and have positive attitudes. We will provide a framework where this can happen.

At the Gordon we have created a busy, friendly atmosphere. We achieve high standards of behaviour and work, and try to ensure that every child reaches her/his potential.

We believe that a true education can only be gained by a partnership between teachers and parents. We seek your full co-operation and interest in all that we do and assure you that everything we do is always in the best interests of the child.

We hope that you find this booklet useful in outlining a range of information to help you and your child settle into Gordon School. Throughout the year other information will be available through the weekly newsletter, meetings with staff, other parents and end of year reports. If you have any matters you wish to discuss please let us know.
